COMING TOGETHER AS THE BODY OF CHRIST

BOoneDY is a term friends of mine in the Dominican Republic developed.

I would love to have this type of creativity.

I do have a desire to see the idea behind the term BOoneDY

lived out among followers of Christ.

Read these verses to see what BOoneDY means:

Romans 12:4, 5

Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these member do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form

ONE BODY and each member belongs to all the others.

1 Corinthians 10:17

Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are ONE BODY,

for we all partake of one loaf.

Ephesians 4:4

There is ONE BODY and one Spirit -

just as you were called to

one hope when you were called.

Colossians 3:15

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,

since as members of ONE BODY you were called to peace.

And be thankful.

God has called us to be one in body.  BOoneDY

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

Prayerfully consider what that really means.

This is not the world's idea of UNITY for the sake of getting along with one another.

BUT RATHER

This is the Bible's idea of UNITY

for the sake of

God's glory and holiness.
